One more week...

One more week until i go back to Haiti. One more week until i start working at the clinic. One more week! I am very excited! It has been a while since i have been to Haiti. But i am excited!

I can't wait to work at the clinic! I can't wait to see all the kids at the "O"! I can't wait to see Junior! I can't wait to see my Mama & brother in Haiti (Mia's biological family)! I can't wait! This is what i have been waiting for since my very first post on my blog, and now it is finally here! And i couldn't be more excited! In less than a week from now i will be in Haiti! And you can expect A LOT of pictures!

Most girls my age don't spend their summer wait to go see this:

But that is to bad for those girls! Thats their loss! I don't want to be one of those girls that aren't helping the Haitians or hasn't started working to get a carreer! Because Haiti, next to God & family & friends, make up my life! And i wouldn't want it any other way!

Oh, and just in case you didn't hear before: ONE MORE WEEK UNTIL I GO BACK TO HAITI ! ;)

Well my mom asked me to handwrite the Thank You cards because she likes how i write. My mom helped a bit though! We got 14 cards done today! (Including one to my grandparents.) I kinda made thiers a bit more fun! :)

I LOVE this little girl! She is so cute! Ever since Shannon came back from Haiti for her first time i loved this picture! (She took it! -or at least it was on her camera... i don't know!) It is my desktop picture! Does anyone know her name??? I am going to ask Alex when i get down there!

You-you Has Left!

Well, You-you left & i find myself bored. We had a great time. She wanted to get a lot of things done like pedicure, black & brown shoe shopping, catching the latest movies & stuff. We saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3, had pool time, & well girl time. We drove all over town just to see that movie! But we had a good time.

Hey You-you! Hope you had a good trip back! Tomorrow i am getting the hair product for curly hair. I am excited about it! I kinda missed my curly hair! Say "HI" to all of the kids & Jimmy & Junior for me!

Oh So Proud!

i have been so proud of my family lately! They have been putting so much to TA's! So i thought is was only fair to my family to post this:

First & foremost, i want to recognize is my Aunt Kristen. She is going to Haiti July 7th; she is leaving her little baby girl with her husband, Scott. So i guess i should recognize my Uncle Scott, too! :)

I am also proud of my Aunt Casey. It feels like just yesterday that Casey went to Haiti. When she came back my Uncle Micheal ask her to go ring shopping with her. `Nough said! He was a little worried when his girlfriend went to a third world country. Today Casey does T-shirt screen printing & is doing a long term found raiser. Next is my Grandma, Jane. my mom & i have been trying to get her to Haiti for a while now, and for some reason she decided to go on July 7th. (I went with "You are the best grandma in the world" approach! Our friend DeAnn & herself are also making the wedding dresses for the nannies that are getting married this summer. I am also proud of my Grandpa Earl feeling a bit more comfortable with letting her go!

I also want to recognize my Aunt Jen. Jen was a little nervous about going to Haiti for the first time, but look at her know! She is leasing this Medical Clinic! Jen is the Executive Medical Director for TA's, too!

My Dad, Frits is another family member i am proud of. Now my dad has been helping with some organization for TA's & helping with other technical stuff! ;)

Lastly, i am proud of my mom, Gretchen for co-starting TA's! It sure changed my life!!!

Thankful

As you heard Junior was very sick! But i am thankful to annoince that he is doing a lot better! The vomiting blood situation is over, and Junior said that all that remains is some pain in his chest. I have been emailing with Jennifer and she believes it is heartburn. The weeks i was in the Netherlands i felt very out of "the loop".
Here is what i wrote to Jen:

Hey Jen! I need Junior answers! I kept on trying to post something on Junior but I have been out of the the "Loop" and don't know his current condition! I also got an email from Junior asking how I was... WHAT?! How i was ! I'm here freaking out about him and he asks me how i was! But I replied say i was doing great & asked how he was doing. Also the Lord hasn't been answering me! I have been praying & praying & usually i don't get direct answers from Him but was kinda hopin' for one!Love you tons!

(i would love you even more if you gave me an update! OK- so maybe not... but i won't hate you if you don't tell me anything! :P)

Offically Tourists!

We have been in London, England for the last 5 days. We took all the tours that my dad's "London" book held! Mia got bored so we told her to run laps! :) We will be returning to the Netherlands for about one more week bfore going back to the States. But my slideshow goes kinda fast so... read fast! ;)
