Forever Home
All Three Angel's kids are home with their families, never needing to say goodbye again. It was an amazing weekend of homecomings. Lord, we praise you...

Three Angels Update!
As I type, all Three Angels kids are at the Embassy as my mom works to get them travel documents. Our goal is to get them into the U.S. With God's help this could happen TONIGHT. All we need now is those documents in hand and a plane that can fly them into Florida. Looks like the 23 of the 26 who are in the adoption process are staying with their forever families. Pray, Pray, Pray.God has been to merciful through all of this! He kept all our kids and most of the staff safe as builds were falling on others. He has opened so many doors by providing a safe place for the kids to stay. God is most certainly in that Embassy right now.
Pray that we get those travel documents in hand. Pray for a plane that may fly these Haiti beauties to safety. Pray for the adoptive parents, as this is a sudden homecoming for their children. Pray for safety, pray for guidance, pray for peace. Let's pray these kids home!

Blessed Phone Call
I just got off the phone with Mia!! It was amazing. I loved hearing her voice again.
"Leesabet?" Was her first word to me.
"Hi Mia!"
"Oh, Hi!"
"How are you?"
"I am good. How are you?"
"I am really good. Are you having a good time?"
"No -er, yes!"
"What are you doing?"
"No," was all she said (stubborn thing).
"Are you playing with your sisters?"
"Yes"
"What are you playing?"
"Dollies"
"Oh. What is your dolly's name?"
(I didn't quite catch her answer).
"That's a pretty name"
"Thank you... I am going swimming"
"Really?! Well, have fun!"
"OK. Mama Chechen?"
"Do you want to talk to Mama Chechen now?"
"Yes... Please"
"OK Mia, you can call me anytime"
"OK"
"Bye-bye, Mia"
"Do you know Jordy?"
"Yes, Jordy is my friend"
"OK. Bye-bye"
"Mia, I love you!"
"I love you, too!"
It is soo amazing that they are finally home!! Praise God!! He is worthy to be praised!!

Missing Belle
Last night as i slept, it was February 23rd, I had just arrived at Three Angels & was stepping out of the TA van. The kids down stairs saw the van & came running out side to see who was here. Jonas lead the way. He was doing flips out the door, apparently he has moved on from cartwheels. Following him was Elmise, Samara, Tyler, Mia, Bryce, Shaki, and finally Belle. However, Belle wasn't yelling "Leesabet" or had a smile on her face like the others. But she pushed past everyone and landed in my arms. Belle was crying, hard. I still don't understand the reason of her tears but i took them as tears of joy. So i just held her tight and cried with her.
So, yes, i have been missing Belle terribly today. all day my thoughts were constantly on little Belle. Between my dream and the fact that she is turning TEN tomorrow, my miss for her has grown a great deal over the last 24 hours.
PS- Domi was saftly holding Jonathan close on the balcony, not over the balcony, saftly holding him & Jonathon's hair is now purple... i have the wierdest dreams!!

Jonas' Cartwheels
i can't wait! i can't wait to hear their small - yet powerful voices yelling "Leesabet! Leesabet!" i can't wait to have Mia on my hip and walk up the stairs & then down the stairs according to her directions. i can't wait to have Woody run into me whenever i step foot into the nursery. i can't wait to hold (baby) Daniel as he sleeps. i can't wait to sit next to Steven as he plays the piano. i can't wait to see Fritz's huge smile through my camera. i can't wait to have Matu on my lap. i can't wait to hold Spendy's face in my hands. i can't wait to follow Shakira around in circles outside while wondering if she really has a specific place in mind of where she is headed. i can't wait to watch Bethany "shake it" when ever the nannies are singing. i can't wait to see Belle lovingly interact with the babies. i can't wait to have Peterson hold not only my hand but my whole arm. i can't wait to love on Tyler. i can't wait to watch Jonas' cartwheels. and i can't wait to for everything else those kids have to offer me.

Bethany
Bethany was one of the very first kids at the "O". And yet with some confusion, she is still there! But she is very loved there! (just Ask You-you!) :)
Anyway. She is just too sweet! Some times i just like to watch her! i like to stand there and gaze at her! Her smile brightens my day! One day when i was working at the medical clinic she came & sat with me. She said "Bonjou" "Hello" to all of the patients. After a while i just had to laugh out loud! Bethany, Bethany was the one being so social! i was actually pretty proud! This isn't the Bethany i remembered! But we both have changed a lot!
And isn't she just so beautiful? I mean really beautiful!
I love her so much! Please, seriously pray for Bethany! She deserves it, and you know it! ;)

Mia, Hope, & Mr. Noah!
Lively, Mia. I miss her voice, you know. The one that just makes you smile & want to hug her to death?! I can't wait to hear her voice again! Remember when you first get to the "O" and all the kids come running to you & want you to hold them whether they have met you or not yet??? Well, Mia was the kid who ran to me! "Hello, my name is, Mia Grace Cundiff! What is your name?" "Hey Mia, my name is Elisabeth" "Lesabet?" "Hehe, Wi!" Then she did her big giggle & jumped into my arms! (a little sooner & faster than i expected!) But i wanted to tell her that i already knew her & i knew who her family was! And that i loved her for a long time now! But i thought that might get confusing for her! And she is such an awesome big sister! She also lead me up to the nursery & she would always go & hold Isaiah! Why Isaiah, i don't know! She loves Isaiah! It was so sweet! And Isaiah loves her, too! :) When her family came, though, she said she didn't love me anymore! :( But i wasn't mad or anything because i knew she was just saying that because her family was there. But the day i left she said she loved me & gave me a hug!
Humble, Hope. I love her, but i bet you already knew that! ;) For a sister to Mia i don't think that they are much alike. Hope is quiet... most of the time. And Mia is so energetic & at times just smack-down-crazy! :) Hope is a little girl with a big smile & a big laugh... if she wants to let it out! But i love them all the same!Sunday, July 29, 2007
Caleb & Isabel
My Aunt Jen & Uncle Dave are Caleb & Isabel's God Parents... which makes me.... their GOD COUSIN! - sort of...Just thought i would let ya know! :)
ANYWAY!
After Hope & Rob left i felt responsible to care for these kids, too! I almost cried when i realized, as we were about to leave to St. Joe's after (Hope & Rob left), that Caleb & Isabel weren't coming with us this time! :( I went back to the "O" after dinner & Caleb really did not cry in miss of his Mama & Papa until that time (so Steven said :). But Caleb started crying when i got to the "O" & fell into my lap! Crying & crying! I felt so bad! Soon after he just walk to his bed & tried to fall asleep. So i would check on him every once in a while. :(

The next night I rocked Isabel. I love her too! Little-cuddle-
bug! -As Hope calls her! :) Sorry i don't have more info & stories on Isabel... she is a bit low on the action, but her love flows & flows!
Every night at St. Joe's the Michigan Team had a team meeting and Hope would talk about her day with the kids. One night Lynda (one of the super sweet ladies on the mission team) Prayed for the Krotzers, as they only had a few more days together. And i cried like a baby & gave Hope a hug! i love that family!

Troubled
I have been thinking & praying for one certain little boy at the orphanage (but i pray for all the kids & staff). Richecard.

This little boy is five years old & just arrived at the orphanage. Richecard's father died a few month's ago. His mother is homeless. She was living with her sister, in a situation where there was physical abuse. This mother wanted to protect her son. She has other children and knows that she can just not care for all of them. She doesn't want her son to grow up on the streets. The first days, Richecard was very sweet, though very quiet. Also, Richecard was so hungry. Now he is waiting for his forever family.

I just can not wait to love on this child. He has nothing but TA's. But that could all change! My trouble right now though is that i am going to Haiti soon i do not know how to get this child to understand that I love him. Even though i barley know him. I want to tell him that i love EVERY child in TA's & those who need love whether they live at TA's or not. I want to tell him that before i knew him i loved him. I just need him to understand.

PS~ I got my first pair of SCRUBS!!!
